Laramie’s Top 10 Reads of 2019

Is it just me or has this year flown by? Every year I feel that way, but this year it felt even faster. I admit part of it was the fact I was laid up from March-July with my back injury, and then it took me a long time to get back into the swing of things.

2018 was a rough year, I dealt with depression and anxiety like I never had before. I made the decision to go on medication, and it truly has changed my life. I was ready to 2018 in the review mirror, and 2019 was going to be the year for me!

2019 brought some of the most physically and emotionally painful times of my life, coupled with some of the highest highs I’ve ever had. But I think that’s possibly how life is meant to me. There are checks and balances. To have the good, we have to deal with the bad. I’m counting my blessing, staying humble, and keeping my head down going into 2020.

Before I get into my top reads of the year, I’d love to recap how my year has been with all of you.

We did it! We made USA Today Bestseller and Wall Street Journal Bestseller. Those were the absolute highlights of my freaking year!

There were 5 novels written along with 7 novellas. We stayed mostly in Bowling and Laurel Springs, only leaving to venture once into Midnight Cove. All in all, there were over 300,000 words written this year!

Next year, I plan to take you to Bradford Station, TN – Laurel Springs, AL – Haldonia – and Bowling Green, KY. If you’re on my Patreon, you’ll finally head to Red Creek, TN with the Red Creek Renegades, a new MC romance series.

This year has been full of ups and downs, and honestly even though it was difficult, I don’t think I would have it any other way.

Now onto my Top 10 reads of the year. They are in no particular order.

Carry the World – Susan Fanetti

Dump and Chase – Toni Aleo

Finding Alexei – Kendall Ryan

Sinner – Sierra Simone

The Candle Palace – Devney Perry
